Bev, I am not sure but seem to remember that it would go to the church with a designation to be used for Social Action. There would definitely need to be some accountability as to where it goes. 
It may be better if you have some place specific in mind to just donate directly. Do research I’m sure lots of scammers are getting set to rip people off.
