Hello! Our next Greener Oconomowoc Coffee Conversation will take place 7PM Thursday April 16th at Whelan's Coffee and Ice Cream.  GO will welcome Mike Jury from Citizens' Climate Lobby, an organization that works with our elected DC Legislators to replace large scale industrial carbon emissions with clean energy.  Mike is a retired environmental engineer with experience in the municipal and private sectors.  We will learn about a proposed bill (HR763) that gives new direction for reducing carbon while supporting innovative jobs to supply clean energy.  Please see the attached poster for more information!Greener Oconomowoc will celebrate Earth Day's 50th Anniversary with a fun filled scavenger hunt.  This family activity will have participants solving riddles to highlight our community's public and private environmental heroes.  This scavenger hunt will be held the week of Earth Day (April 19 - 25) and can be completed by car.  Watch your email in-box for first clues, rules and directions for completing this fun adventure.Greener Oconomowoc will hold a Listening Session for its members and friends 7PM May 14th at Oconomowoc Area Senior Center (210 S. Main, Oconomowoc).  It has been some time since we have gathered together to talk about our visions for Greener Oconomowoc.  What excites your environmental spirit?  New projects, speakers, field trips, advocacy, events, resolutions - this is our chance to share our ideas with each other.
