"Take the Money!"

In a report released Friday, the nonpartisan Wisconsin Policy Forum found the state would need an additional $2.2 billion over the next two years to continue its existing programs. State revenue is unlikely to increase by that much. It is imperative that Wisconsin expand Medicaid and accept the $200 million dollars per year in additional federal aid.

The hostile legislature that Tony Evers must deal with next year is going to refuse to do this.  We cannot wait until next year to show our support for accepting the Medicaid funding. Work on the budget has already begun. Our legislators need to hear from us now.
