Hello,

I recently bid on and won at auction, lamb which was donated by Heidi
Woehlck of Mill Creek Farm from the UU Church in Waukesha. I asked her to
send me this email to forward to friends who might be interested in
purchasing lamb.

Hi Chris -

Our 2017 lamb prices were based on a dressed weight of 55 pounds. A
whole lamb was $356, half was $178. A person buying a whole lamb got:

           5 lbs ground lamb

           2 lbs bulk sausage

2 legs of lamb (in 4 pieces, as a whole leg is hard for most
people to fit in the oven)

           2 shoulder roasts

           2 packages of brats

           6 shoulder steaks

           7 packages of lamb chops

plus three more assorted cuts (ground, chops, steaks, etc.,
but not leg or roast)

I assume this year’s prices will be similar, but it’s based on weight, so
if we have smaller or larger lambs than last year, the price will be a bit
more or less. My June lambs will be on the larger side, October/November
may be a bit smaller (due to being different breeds).

I have lamb available now - I could still do a whole or half lamb if
someone is interested. By the cut, prices are as follows:

          chops - $10/lb

          leg - $13/lb

          shoulder roast - $11/lb

          ground - $8.50/lb

          steaks - $9/lb

Thanks for your interest,

                Heidi
