Hello! Greener Oconomowoc is excited to bring three events to its Winter Programs!   Tuesday January 30th, 9:30 AM - GO Conversations - Books and CompanyJoin Greener Oconomowoc members for an informal get-together and conversation.  Our topic will be "Elements of a Successful Environmental Warning".  Ken Rizzo, retired meteorologist,  will lead us in an exercise of comparing warning signs about climate changes with other successful environmental warnings such as floods, tornadoes, and hurricanes.  Thursday February 1st, 7-9 PM - Coffee Conversation - Whelans Coffee and CreamThree TED talks will be presented on "How to Have Better Political Conversations".  We will learn how our individual values can help us bridge political divides, how to create opportunities for mutual listening and how to use simple tactics to maintain bipartisan friendships.    Thursday March 8th, Greener Oconomowoc's Annual Meeting at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital; 530 PM Registration, 6 PM Dinner, 7 PM Annual Meeting, 7:30 Panel Presentation on Water.  There are two focuses: 1. Oconomowoc Watershed Project which works with farmers and home owners to protect streams leading into our large lakes.  2.  Groundwater problems from Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations in our neighboring rural areas.   Please mark your calendars and plan to attend all three events!! Shirley DepiesGO TNS Chair
