Just 13 seconds from lift off today's planned launch was halted.

If you look closely at the timeline along the bottom of the launch pic you
can see the steps of what happens after launch. It's about 10 minutes from
launch until the Dragon capsule separates from the Falcon 9 rocket and
starts its two day chase of the International Space Station (ISS) to
resupply it. Just a minute after separation the Falcon 9 rocket will
attempt to re-land back at Cape Canaveral, saving a multi-million dollar
piece of equipment. If you missed it, SpaceX can land (usually they're
still perfecting the tech) the rockets that launch its satellites and the
resupply of ISS - standing up, vertically.

You can see the space station with the naked eye in the mornings and
evenings if you know when and where to look and for two days after Dragon
takes off, you can see it chasing ISS. Enter your city here to see when
it's visible for you. https://spotthestation.nasa.gov/sightings/

"Falcon Heavy was designed from the outset to carry humans into space and
restores the possibility of flying missions with crew to the Moon or Mars."

Reusing rockets.

This is cool stuff and something an American company is doing that's
employing lots of people and advancing science. Why aren't the launches,
etc. covered by our media? We could have the sense of pride and
togetherness that the Apollo missions generated in the 60's if these were
broadcast by our main networks. We need more good news, I don't understand
why this is overlooked.

Next launch window is 9:38 am EST tomorrow, Sunday, tune in early.
