FYI .
HARTLAND - A Village of Hartland Public Works Department, 701 Progress
Drive, will host a one-day electronics recycling event for all Waukesha
County residents from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 8.
State law bans electronics and appliances from landfills and incinerators

appliances.
Items that will be collected for a cash-only fee include TV sets ($25) and
Cathode Ray Tube computer monitors ($10). No broken TV sets or monitors will
be accepted; call (262) 896-8300 for information on recycling broken or
de-manufactured units.
The following items will be collected at no fee: computers, non-Cathode
computer monitors, printers, keyboards, laptops, scanners, DVD players,
VCRs, stereos, cell phones, telephones, air conditioners, dehumidifiers,
refrigerators, microwaves, water coolers, freezers, water heaters,
washer/dryers, stoves, oven/ranges, and dishwashers.
The collection event is for household electronics and appliances only.
For those who can't make the April 8 event, the next electronics collection
will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 13.

Amy
