So VERY sorry but Greg and I need to back out . I am retiring from the clinic effective March 15 and another therapist is moving into my office. I thought I would have more time......BUT not so it turns out.
SO moving day is a priority this weekend.
My thoughts will be with Team LCUUC!

A group of LCUUCers are going down to walk in Milwaukee this Saturday to raise awareness about Common Ground's Milwaukee Neighborhoods Now campaign and to encourage people to vote/offer info about how to register, etc. Our shift is 8:45 - 12:30. We could use a few more kooks - please join us!
We have been assigned to walk on the South Side of Milwaukee, and have been asked to meet at Tippecanoe Presbyterian - 125 W Saveland Avenue, Milwaukee. by or before 8:45 am. Let's plan to meet up at the Nagawaukee Park and Ride (at I-94 and Hwy 83) at 7:50 and carpool down. Please let me know if you'll meet up there or if you'd prefer to go on your own.
At the church, we will be given all the instructions on what to say and do and where to go. Let me know if you have any more questions.
Looking forward to it!

Dear Carlyn, Mark, Karen, Fran, Susan, Stacy, and anyone else interested in joining us --
Thanks for your interest in taking a shift to walk in Milwaukee for Common Grounds' Milwaukee Neighborhoods Now Campaign!
The walks are Saturday and Sunday from this weekend until April 3 (not including Easter weekend). We can sign people up for any of these days for an am or pm shift. There will be a signup at the Social Justice table in the social hall after this Sunday's Social Justice worship service (how social!)
It would be fun to get a group to go down together. The best day for me is Saturday March 12. How many of you could go that day? The am shift is 8:45 to 12:30. The pm shift is 12:45 to 4:30. Let me know if you could go for the am shift on 3/12. If March 12 isn't good for you, let me know what other Saturdays and Sundays work for you between now and April 3.
There were some questions about the training -- there is a training before each shift. A few questions are answered below, and I have attached two sheets that give you all the info.
So let me know when you can go! and thanks for your help! Getting people in Milwaukee neighborhoods involved and voting is a positive thing -- according to Common Ground - "history tells us that for every 10 people we talk to and follow up with, 4 will vote - that's huge!"
DO I HAVE TO ATTEND THE TRAINING EACH TIME I WALK?
No! Only the first time you walk. We would like you to attend the evaluation after the walk each time. If you have attended a training, you can arrive and check out a walk packet right away.
ALL PEOPLE ARE WELCOME AT ALL 3 DISTRICTS!
Anyone can walk in any of the districts. We need people from all our organizations to sign up to walk in all the different districts. Districts we will walk are 7, 8 & 13. We are walking 2 wards in each district. You do not need to live in the district that you walk.
