Hello All and thank you for your support of Family Promise,
We will have three families joining us this week (2/14 - 2/12).
#1 Rachel (34) and Serena (13)
#2 Tawny (36), Christian (15) and Autumn (10)
#3 Ricki (21) and Ryan (4)
* All three of our moms are employed which is wonderful news, but it leads
to some crazy schedules!!!
*Serena will not be with us every day, nor will Autumn. Autumn will be
with us on Friday and Saturday only, and I am having trouble figuring out
Serena's schedule, but at a minimum we will not have her on Sunday and
Monday.
*I understand that Christian is VERY active, but also enjoys playing his
PlayStation 3.
Dinner Prep/Serve and Evening Hosts - Due to the job schedules we will
essentially have two dinner seatings during the week...the 6pm dinner and
then a 7 pm dinner for Ricki and Ryan who will not arrive until 6:45pm on
weekdays.
Rachel has a gluten sensitivity but it is not serious enough to be
concerned about separate utensils etc.... dinners need not be gluten free,
we will have options available to Rachel if your meal contains gluten.
Head count for dinners (as always please prepare extra for volunteers and
leftovers for lunches):
Sunday: 2 adults, 2 children, Rachel to arrive at 10:30 pm
Monday - 3 adults, 2 kids
Tuesday - 2 adults, 2 kids, Rachel to arrive at 9:30pm
Wed - 3 adults, 3 kids
Thursday - 3 adults, 2-3 kids
Friday - 2 adults, 3 kids, Rachel to arrive 10:30pm
Saturday - 3 adults, 3-4 kids
I have attached the schedule as well, please refer to it for additional
info.
Please feel free to contact Gina with any questions. 262-424-7640 cell
As always a million thanks for your help and dedication....and remember our
motto for the week is "BE FLEXIBLE AND KIND!!" I know that our group does
NOT need this reminder, you are always both!!
I have received word from the previous host church that our moms are
feeling a bit overwhelmed and anxious at times so it will help if all of us
are patient and POSITIVE...focusing on the good things in life!! Not
always easy to do even when you have stable housing!
