[Lekooks] Walk with Us in Support of Karen Haskell – “Strain for the Brain” Run/Walk

Dear Beloved Community,

I’m writing to invite you to a special opportunity to come together in
love, support, and action.

On *June 1 *members of our congregation will be participating in the *Strain
for the Brain Run/Walk*, an event raising funds for brain cancer research.
This year, we walk in support of our own Karen Haskell, who is living with
glioblastoma*.* Karen’s strength, resilience, and spirit are a continual
inspiration to our community.

Whether you’re a runner, a casual walker, or simply want to be present in
support, your participation is a powerful way to stand with Karen and help
advance life-changing research.

*Time:* 8:00 to 9:00 packet pick up

The team’s name is *Team Karen Haskell*

Karen plans to do the 5K walk, but whether you walk or run, 1 mile or 5K,
plan to meet and visit at the venue afterwards. Please bring a chair. There
will be food trucks for snacks, or you can bring your own.

We will also be organizing *carpools* for those who wish to attend but
prefer not to drive. If you’d like to join a carpool—either as a passenger
or driver—please let me know.

Let’s come together in community, have some fun, and show Karen that she is
surrounded by love and support every step of the way.
