Hi
I thought I posted this back in the first week of February when all heck
was breaking loose.
It was recommended to me that when calling a Senator or a Representative:
1--Call with only one issue and a suggested course of action.
(If you've been using five calls.org, they will give you a speech that you
can put into your own words for each of the various issues that are
upcoming and ongoing)
2--You can make as many calls as you want. but each call And I stress
this needs to have only one issue... and that issue needs to have a
recommended action.
For example"" ... I'm asking senator....??? To oppose this blah blah
blah... And for bonus points you can say because blah blah blah... "
3--Think about what you're going to say ahead of time and keep it under 3
minutes
4--The word is that calls even voicemails are more important than sending a
letter or an email however if you want to do both as long as you make the
phone call...
Here's the link to five calls which has the issues summarized the impact
summarized and gives a script and even if you need the phone numbers of who
to call.

I've been making about nine calls a day to three different people on three
different issues because I just can't do all of them everyday.
I also call both sides of the aisle because I'm not going to stay silent
they're supposed to represent me irregardless of what party they belong to
and I want it on record that I opposed what's going on (or I agree
depending on what the issue is )

Thank you
Erin Johnston
