        I read the article and am familiar with the disease.? Mike Bera's dad the same thing.? It was difficult to diagnosis, but is getting a larger exposure.? It took a number of years and finally a doctor from a hospital who was newer to WI, who finally matched his diagnosis.? Mike's dad died just over 18 years ago, at age 74.? The symptoms came on slowly and gradually.? It was hard to know if it was his personality, or something else.? doctors estimate that the timeline was 7 to 10 years, that he lived with the disease.? Denial by others, or inability to intervene, made things difficult for those around him.? Observation of actions, speech, etc were there, but hard to discern from natural personality.? 
        Perhaps, others will see and assist in helping others get the help, or assistance they need before it becomes hurtful to others and their safety.?

        BTW, I've emailed MSNBC and asked them to contact and do an on-air interview with the psychiatrist who contributed to the article.? I'd encourage as many people as possible to do the same (though their webpage doesn't make it easy).
