[Lekooks] Adopt A Highway

LCUUC is in its 24th year as a participant in Waukesha County's "Adopt A Highway" program, in which organizations partner with the County to clean up County highway roadsides 3 times a year. LCUUC's section is Highway E north from Highway K to where the road turns west.

Please join in on Saturday July 27 (weather permitting, of course!). Meet at the church front door at 9:00 am. We supply the bags, yellow-green vests (compliments of the County), and bottled water.
If you have never done this, give it a try! Wear good walking shoes and gloves.  Takes about 1-1/2 hours and is a nice sociable walk, in addition to doing something to help our environment and publicize our church. Everybody is welcome. Per Waukesha County rules, children participating must be at least 11 years old or in 6th grade.
