You will see this in our weekly eblast today, but wanted to send again with
a reminder that you don't need to be part of the Hartland Buy Nothing Group
to participate and that you can attend and "shop" whether or not you have
clothing to give. All ages and genders clothing welcome.
There is a lot going on this Sunday so if you plan to stay, you may want to
pack a lunch!

Buy Nothing Hartland, a local chapter of the International Buy Nothing
Project, a movement dedicated to reducing consumption and building
community, will be hosting a clothing swap at LCUUC and church members are
invited to participate!
Clean out your family’s closets and bring any clothes you no longer need,
including those for kids, teens, and adult men and women. Or come check out
what others have to offer and see if there is something that works for you.
Or do both!
Buy Nothing Hartland aims to build a gift economy by providing a place for
people to post items they no longer need or are willing to lend out, and to
ask for things that they’re looking for. Buy Nothing groups are grounded in
values of abundance, gratitude and local connection. Membership in Buy
Nothing Hartland is open to people who live within the boundaries of the
Hartland-Lakeside school district.
Joining the group is not required to participate in the clothing swap, but
if you’re interested in becoming a member, visit the Buy Nothing Hartland
Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/863893697498023/ A new group
was recently created for Merton residents. Information about that group can
be found here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/257657617344847/. Other Buy
Nothing groups can be found by searching Facebook. You can learn more at
