This vigil is open to all and is dedicated to honoring the emotional work
towards ending the violence in Gaza. We call for a ceasefire, an end to
indiscriminate bombing, the release of hostages/prisoners, humanitarian
aid, and an accountability process rooted in justice, not revenge. We
deeply respect the worth and dignity of all Palestinians and Israelis.
During this hour of reflection, we come together to be present with one
another and deepen our attention to the crises in Gaza. We acknowledge the
deep and complex roots in the minds and hearts of Westerners. Our intention
for this first vigil is to reconnect with our emotions. Join us as we
grieve, rage, learn, and find solace together.
Hosted by concerned Unitarian Universalist ministers, religious
professionals, lay leaders, DRUUMM(Diverse Revolutionary Unitarian
Universalist Multicural Ministries), and more. Vigil officiants include
