If you don't mind knapweed, red clover, and other such stuff in the lawn...As for saving gas and fertilizer, I remember growing up in Prairie du Sac where nobody fertilized their lawn and everybody mowed with an old-fashioned reel mower that you pushed. Maybe we should go back to that.
