Dear Friends,If you have not done so yet, there is still time to register for an exceptional virtual interaction this coming Tuesday, March 22, with nationally prominent climatologist Katharine Hayhoe as part of the Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee's series "Confronting Climate Change with Hope: Empowering Ourselves to Make a Difference."
Katharine will give a dynamic, inspirational overview of her recent book, "Saving Us: A Climate Scientist's Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World" in a pre-recorded video, followed by a live question and answer session with her.  
Those of who already have registered for this Tuesdays-in-March series are all set and don't need to do anything more. You will recieve the Zoom link in an email this Sunday, with a reminder email sent Tuesday morning.
This March 22 Zoom program -- which will begin at 12:10 p.m., slightly later than normal -- is one of five in Interfaith's 2022 Tuesdays-in-March series organized by our Peace and International Issues Committee.  The entire series costs only $15 and includes access to videos of each of the presentations for those who cannot attend all of these lunchtime programs or who want to view programs again.

Katharine Hayhoe, Nationally Prominent Climate Scientist,
 Author and Professor in Public Policy & Public LawKatharine is an atmospheric scientist whom the New York Times called “one of the nation’s most effective communicators on climate change” and whom TIME magazine named one of the 100 most influential people in the world. She is the Nature Conservancy’s chief scientist and a distinguished professor at Texas Tech University, where she teaches in the Political Science Department and is director of the Climate Science Center. She hosts the PBS digital series Global Weirding, is a United Nations Champion of the Environment, is the World Evangelical Alliance’s Climate Ambassador, and serves on the advisory board of the Citizens' Climate Lobby.
