Hi Gerry,
Thank you for the note. I felt like I was a bit of an outlier sitting with
my feelings during the service. When you asked for "encouragement," I
sensed we were on the same page. I was hoping for at least a bit of
"acknowledgement." There are many members of our community who are doing
much, much more than giving $20 to the BLM movement.
In the end I took a breath and calmed myself. I told myself that she is
doing her best to wake people up. Perhaps a word directly to her *might*
make a difference. I didn't feel that receptivity
