Good morning, Gerry,   I am saddened by what you have to say about Dr. Liston’s  sermon.   I thought the links she made between James Baldwin and Malcolm X were quite brilliant and offered us a very different understanding of the concept of mercy, linking it to privilege and power.  Malcolm X has long been one of my heroes.  

Your response is of course yours to have and express.   It impelled me to counter with my own.   Sue Andrews
