I don't know if we dare weigh in for or against specific candidates, given the tax code, on this LCUUC site, but then the tax code is largely ignored anyway by other churches.That being said, the only thing about the candidates I know, which is neither "for" or "against", is that Kerr is backed by the Republican Party and Underly is backed by WEAC. I know nothing about the other candidates other than they are all "for education".

Thanks TracyThe State Superintendent of Public Instruction is on the ballot . I checked with my niece, who I highly respect and who works on racial justice issues for the Department of Public Instruction in Madison, and she recommends Jill Underly. She also likes Shelia Briggs who she often works with.Phil
