I'm not sure this incident really happened. I googled "break-ins at Nashotah Park", and all I found about that park was an incident last year where somebody threatened to shoot somebody at the dog run. There were incidents at other parks, but not at that one.

That's awful! Thank goodness credit cards don't charge for thefts if informed in time. I hope it's not a hassle gettimg a new car key. I have one in my purse and one in my office.I live one mile from Nashotah Park. It's time for me to start locking my doors.Diane MacBain

I copied a portion of a post from FB about a break-in of a car at Nashotah Park. Looks like you have to keep up your guard.
“Feeding HORRIBLE for my kind hearted, generous friend who just was a victim of a ‘smash & grab’. Where? Nashotah Park, in broad daylight, too.Be aware people. See something out of place? Say something, take a picture with your phone, pay attention  and look out for each other.$2k+ already charged/taken from her accounts. What did they purchase? $1k in gift cards (at one retailer) and over $1k in cigarettes (again, at one retailer) how that doesn’t raise a red flag, is beyond me.I’m so mad for my friend as well as the other 2 people who had the same happen to them. Especially the lady who was visiting from OH and now her car keys are MIA, along with her wallet and cell.”
