[Lekooks] Moraine energy retrofit

We are partway into a full remodel of Trqcy's family home. The primary
focus is on dramatically improving the energy efficiency of the building.
By my estimates when this is complete we will reduce our energy demand by
75%.

This style of retrofit is possible on most homes. Our country farmhouse is
about 150 years old and will soon have very airtight R 26 walls, a
completely airtight R36 roof plus extremely efficient windows and doors.

If you are curious about what's being done and how the construction details
were resolved now would be a good time to come by and take a look before
all the interesting bits are covered up with dirt and siding.
