Hello again LCUUC. Suzette Nelson here with a repost of where you may send
financial donations for the aid of my son in law's immediate family in
Honduras should you feel so inspired! Below the donation info is a recap of
the situation if you missed it earlier plus some links to informative
articles that I've added.

My daughter's Venmo account is: Kaja-Nunez.

(If you send to Venmo please add a note that you are from LCUUC or For
Hurricane Relief.)

Alternately, you may mail a check to me,
Suzette Nelson,
611 Clyman St.,
Watertown, WI 53094

Please include a return address as my 8 yr. old granddaughter is making
thank-you cards for each donor.

If you didn't see the original post, my son-in-law, Guillermo's, mother,
brother, sister and nieces lost everything but the clothes on their backs
and a mattress they could carry when the first of 2 unprecedented
hurricanes wiped out their entire community, flooding over the house tops.
Within a week's time, as they started to clean the debris after Hurricane
Eta's flood subsided, a second hurricane, Iota, far worse than the first
ravaged the community again. It was one of the worst in Honduran history.
Some links to info:

My daughter is trying to raise funds directly, not through an organization
that will take administrative fees. She has a Venmo account where you may
securely send funds electronically.
If you are unfamiliar with Venmo you may also send a personal check to me
and I will send the funds on to her. Every penny will go directly to this
family. On a good day their lives are desperately poor compared to ours.
Their houses are what we'd consider shacks. To have lost the little that
they had to subsist with puts them in great peril in a country that has
extraordinary political instability and poverty. The family lives on the
outskirts of San Pedro Sula.
For a little perspective on conditions in Honduras in general (WITHOUT a
hurricane) here is a link to an informative article:

If you google the city, or "Honduras poverty, danger" etc. you will find
much more.

Again thank you so much, wonderful people, for all you do to help reduce
poverty and Injustice in the world.
Big love from my extended family to yours.
