Subject: [Lekooks] Honduran hurricane

Hi folks. The following is a message my daughter posted on her Facebook wall. My daughter's name is Kaja, and my son-in-law is Guillermo. His immediate family lost everything in the recent hurricane in Honduras. She is trying to raise funds to help them recover..food, shelter, clothing etc. I know there are relief organizations that are doing this for the country as well, but I thought I would share here in case anyone in the LCUUC congregation wants to donate to her direct relief effort. Anything sent will go directly to the family and be so greatly appreciated.
If you have any questions, you can feel free to reach out to me personally at (414)559-7004.
Thanks for anything you may be able to contribute.

Here is her message:

Dear Everybody:
If you have funds and would like to make a direct impact on Hondurans in need right now following the devastation caused by Hurricane Eta, Guillermo and I will be sending money to his family so they are able to clean, rebuild, replace all their ruined belongings, afford food, etc. We are hoping to be able to send enough so they can also help their neighbors. Their whole neighborhood was flooded up to the roofs of the houses! Guillermo's mom, sister, brother and neices lost everything but the clothes and food they could carry and one mattress! I set up a Venmo account: @Kaja-Nunez
You can feel free to connect directly if you want to use cash or mail a check! This is obviously not tax deductible, but there are no administrative fees!!! Everything will go directly to family and friends in need.
