and have 9 minutes of silence. We will stand on our corner, wearing masks
and practicing social distancing. Below is the basic info. We hope you
can come.

Please share widely - invite your friends and neighbors and share on social

Our purpose is to stand up for racial justice and call for an end to all
forms of systemic racism throughout our country. We will gather to observe
9 minutes of silence, in acknowledgment of the nine minutes when George
Floyd suffered and died from a police officer kneeling on his neck.

Progressive mass movements are what propel positive change in this
country. Join the movement to support and advocate for change.

*We will be following CDC guidelines for social distancing and we ask that
event attendees do the same*. We strongly encourage everyone to wear a mask
and maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet.

*This event is organized by Lake Country Unitarian Universalist Church, a
member of Black Lives Matter to Wisconsin UUs, partnering with SOPHIA
Waukesha on issues of Racial Equity, Immigration and Criminal Justice
Reform.*
