[Lekooks] The details on the Plant a-round Exchange

Sorry for the second email, but it looks like the details from the first email did not go through...Here they are:

The LCUUC Plant a-round Exchange will be on Saturday June 6th, after noon.  Here's what you need to know to participate:

  

*  Bring a plant (or plants) to the church.  

    If you live near the church please drop off your plant by the front door all day Friday or on Saturday morning. If dropping off your plant ahead of time doesn't work for you, please bring a plant to share when you come for the exchange after noon on Saturday.  We need enough people to drop off plants ahead of time to have some plants ready when the first people arrive Saturday afternoon.

    Consider including a note with your plant.  Since we are distancing physically, a note to the new caretaker of your plant will allow us to connect indirectly with each other.

  

* The church building will not be open.

    The plants will be set out around our circle drive.  We want this exchange to be safe for everyone who participates.  

  

* Pick out your new plant.

    Sometime after noon on Saturday, June 6 and before 4:00 PM, come to church, drive (bike or walk if that is how you are coming to the building) the circle drive around the building - one way only please - and choose your new plant.  Please maintain distance from others and if someone is in the drive ahead of you, allow time for them to choose their plant.

  

*If you are not able to come to the church for the exchange but would like to receive a plant, please contact Chris Rollins by Wednesday, June 3.

    Chris is coordinating distribution of plants for those that are not able to get out with the teens.  Chris' email address is dre at lcuuc.org.

  

* Please stay safe and healthy.

    Maintain physical distance from others but also maintain safe connections in other ways, wear a mask but remember to smile, and remember to wash your hands.
