Hi all- So nice to hear from Chris and it's exciting that she knows Carin!
I watched the ordination and felt a deep gratitude, not only for our new
minister, but for all the UU ministers and lay people who shared during the
ordination, who think and speak and sing and share so eloquently and
honestly about things that matter. It was such a reprieve from the news of
the day.
What a gift to have Carin with us! It's frustrating that we can't welcome
her with hugs and handshakes, in person, in our church (and with one of our
amazing potlucks!)
During her ordination, Carin's mentor reached out to LCUUC asking that we
help Carin in leading us. So important. We have a responsibility to share
our knowledge and experiences at LCUUC with her, to help her minister in a
way that meets our needs and challenges. The ordination left me with a
sense that Carin is a very compassionate and skilled minister. We are
fortunate that our paths crossed.
Couldn't be more excited to have Carin with us!
Welcome Carin!!
With gratitude, Lynne
