Recap: Immigration Forum
SOPHIA and WCTC's Latinx Student Organization hosted a successful and insightful Immigration Forum on September 21 on the WCTC campus. SOPHIA leaders and community members gathered to learn about the truth behind immigration myths, the benefits of immigration, and to engage in dialogue.
Thank you to WCTC's Latinx Student Organization and the keynote speakers: Dr. Enrique Figueroa, Dr. Armando Ibarra, and Primitivo Torres!

Thank You: David Helling Scholarship Fund Brunch
Our deepest gratitude to those who attended the David Helling Scholarship Fund brunch on September 22. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $1,000 in funds, to be used to send SOPHIA leaders (that includes all of you!) to trainings that will help our organization and communities thrive!
A special thank you to Laraine and Mike O'Brien for hosting this lovely event again this year!
