Well, it’s spring. Chances are there are babies. Kerry, do you have a dog? If not, an option is to live in harmony. Before it became illegal, skunks were popular pets. They would be descented. They can be litter box trained just like cats. I bet if you fed it, it would tolerate your presence. Unlike cats, they do not mind being on a leash. Maybe Google it.

This may get it to move out on its own. There was recently a great interview on NPR regarding unwanted Critters living around our homes might want to check that out this idea was on there.

We think we have a skunk living in a hole under our raised deck, behind our big wood pile (sigh).  Does anyone know of a pest removal service?
