Once again we’ll be doing our after-Christmas show at the Café Carpe – and we’d love to see you there.
As ridiculous as it sounds, you are advised to purchase tickets in advance as this how is usually a sell out….

What:  Americana* and inadvertent comedy in a classic listening room behind the bar
(*Americana, for lack of a better definition, is where the roots of folk, blues, country, and bluegrass
  meet and have strange but lovely children.)
Who:  Syd Hartha & the Monkeyminds
                        Greg (guitar, vocals), Looper (harmonica, vocals), Blaine (fiddle, mandolin, vocals), Eric (bass), Tim (percussion)
                        There are rumors that we will have guest appearances from Sven (slide guitar) and  Jason (saxophone).

When/where:  Friday, December 27, 8:30-11 pm.  Café Carpe.  Fort Atkinson, WI.
We advise you to come early to drink and eat in the bar.  It will make the show seem better and Carpe owners Bill & Kitty are getting close to retirement age and could really use the money

Why:  To ease the pain and stress of the holidays, to get away from or celebrate a night out with family or friends, or maybe to help Blaine purchase a new mandolin.
