Kaya is a vegetarian and really doesn't care for the "bloody" appearance of these (she doesn't eat animals for ethical reasons) so she is sticking to plant based diet. However many people will be happy to have this "sudo" meat substitute for various reasons. I have tried an impossible burger and it was satisfactory. Now that the FDA is giving the green light to some of these companies... hoping that meat consumption will continue to decline so that the earth's resources aren't depleting so rapidly due to the toll that the meat/ livestock industry is causing. Also a plant based diet is overall better for a human health.

We bought a couple of quarter-pound "Beyond Burgers" at PicknSav for 5 bucks, and had them for lunch. Couldn't tell them from real hamburgers. If they catch on, could eliminate livestock as a major source of greenhouse gases.
