Hey friends:



Come join me for some fun, to support the *Waukesha Civic Theatre* on *August
10* at noon, at WCT’s *first annual* *Walk Run Skip* event.



The Waukesha Civic Theatre is a great organization to support.  This
fundraiser targets the WCT’s children’s programs, the Academy at Civic
Theatre (ACT).  Wow, as a parent of kids who participated with ACT, I can’t
say enough about it.  ACT programs are ostensibly about acting, but as much
about confidence, creativity, problem-solving, and developing life skills
that are *great* for the kids who participate, and *great* for the
community.

The course is about 2 miles, around the Riverwalk downtown.  Or, if you’re
dying to do a 5k, go around twice!  Bring the kids, grandkids, parents, and
the whole neighborhood … or just bring yourself!  Kids are encouraged to
dress up.  Adults, well, you are not discouraged from dressing up, but …
well, I won’t be.  I don’t plan to skip either.  But I hope to see you
skipping and in full costume!



Lunch will be available at the event.



If you want, you can come early, at 10:00, for a showing of the movie
Beauty and the Beast, for only $5, while seats are available.  Or, come
early for the Waukesha farmer’s market, and stay for lunch and the Walk Run
Skip.



Fun times!  Great cause!  Help spread the word!  See you there!
