Come to the opening reception and interfaith program for:
 
 Gratitude...A Celebration of Our Common Humanity
Drop-in Reception: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
 Interfaith program:  6:00 p.m.
 Bring Food Donation for Hunger Task Force
 
 Milwaukee City Hall Rotunda,
 200 E Wells St, Milwaukee, WI 53202
People of all faiths or philosophies are invited to the opening reception and interfaith program this coming Monday, Nov. 19, for Gratitude, an exhibition of photos printed on banners that will be displayed in the Rotunda of Milwaukee City Hall during the Thanksgiving holiday week through Nov. 23.
Gratitude is a collaborative photographic exhibit between the Milwaukee Institute of art and design (MIAD) and the Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee, which seeks to highlight themes of faith and diversity. As part of their learning experience, MIAD students visited places of worship and meditation in the Milwaukee area and created photographic observations of their experiences while also reflecting on their own personal spirituality. The resulting images showcase the incredible diversity of faith traditions in our area while also acknowledging the similar threads that connect us to our fellow humans.
