Family Promise keeps chugging down the tracks with its boiler burning steady. Some of the highlights along the way include:Seven families passed through the doors since January. Two of those families found homes in places as far away as Texas and Louisana. Others are now living in Madison, Waukesha and Milwaukee.
Thanks to some generous donors, Family Promise acquired a 2017 Ford Transit 15-passenger van and a brand new washer, dryer and refrigerator.
Our church based hospitality program keeps rolling along thanks to our volunteer army showing up and working countless shifts.
Silver Lake Intermediate School 8th grade raised $500 for Family Promise. Great to see these future leaders getting involved in their community!

Family update from Erin Pechacek, Case Manager
We never quite know where our guest families are going to land! One family we took in this winter was eventually able to reconnect with a relative in Louisiana who had a house available for them. The house needed much work before they could move in. Another Family Promise day center happened to be located just six miles from their new home. The other Family Promise graciously agreed to let our guests utilize their hospitality program while our guests worked on their new home. They also agreed to help furnish the home once it was ready. Thanks so much to Family Promise of Ouachita County for helping us get another family back into a permanent home!
