You are invited to join us at the Stiemke Studio for the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre production of “Until the Flood” by Dael Orlandersmith.   This play centers around the reactions of the St. Louis region to the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri in  August, 2014.  “Based upon hundreds of interviews, the author features AND performs eight real-life characters sharing different perspectives on the event and aftermath.   The result is a theatrical mosaic of diverse voices that explores how a community heals and grows together.”  The play will be followed by an opportunity to share questions and comments at some performances.    It will be playing from March 13 - April 22.  The Social Justice Committee from LCUUC is coordinating a group going on Saturday, March 17 at 4 pm with a talk back that day led by our own Phil Smith.  If we can get a group of 10, we will get a reduced rate of $32.68/ticket.
