Hello All,
*There are several open shifts for our upcoming host week*. We begin
hosting THIS Sunday February 11. Please consider a shift if you are
trained and can find the time in your schedule. I extend my apologies for
a very poorly timed trip on my part. I am out of town for our entire host
week....I will try to be more careful with my timing!! Thanks to Phil
Smith and Bill Lizdas for heading up the week!!
A few notes on our families both current and past:
Current Guests:
*Family #1: * Amy (head of household), James (husband), Pearly Mae (female,
2)
*Family #2: *Shawna (Head of household), Carmelo (male, 2), Uryjah (female,
1 year)
*Family #3:* Amber (head of household, pregnant)
Our guest, Amber, has recently found employment and will be working second
shift in Waukesha. This means that she will be arriving at church around
1:30 am. More details to follow for our overnight and meal prep volunteers.
Our guests have the following allergies/intolerance:
We have guests who are allergic to sulfas, Bactrim, bioxin, Demerol,
Dramamine, blueberries, and amoxicillin. One guest is lactose intolerant.
The staff at the Day Center is actively screening new families, so it is
quite possible that we will get a fourth family during our week (or they
could join the program this week?)
Past Guests: Jennifer and Jabari moved to Texas recently. She called to
report that they love Texas and that she just signed a lease to an
apartment and is well on her way to success. Jabari really likes his new
school, and both are enjoying the weather.
I will be sending a separate email to the meal prep volunteers to get them
connected and informed.
Thank you,
gina magnus
