Hi Gus,
I discovered (and couldn't resist) new, self-published editions of Newton's Principia and Euclid's Elements and thought one or both might appeal to you too. The version's approach and construction is both innovative and classic. This is a screenshot.
P was / E will be made in small batches on old equipment (be sure to watch the video at the bottom of the first link's page). I stumbled on Kronecker Wallis' Kickstarter campaign for the Euclid book:

Which led to the closed/finished Kickstarter campaign for his Principia edition:

And finally his site:

I haven't been let down by a Kickstarter campaign yet, but I'm picky. I've "bought" a couple of table-top photo books and contributed to some art campaigns, no tech or clothes ... yet.
I found these books while resisting a HEXA. I really want a HEXA and to learn more about AI. I probably should go ahead and pledge for one even though it's way too much for a toy just so I don't keep finding other things I "need" while considering it again. Don't you think so?

(Because you get free shipping for the Euclid Kickstarter Early Bird but not the Kickstarter choice with both books included, I found it's cheaper to order the Kickstarter Early Bird Euclid then Principia separately from Willis, by about 12 euro if my math is right. Plus you get Principia sooner!)
My cousin's husband's German family was in printing and he had a small-batch, pneumatic press like the one in the video in their Schaumburg, IL garage. He did one-off side jobs and made good money. Maybe these books appeal to me because I've seen him use that press to make up to four-color wedding invitations, menus for fancy restaurants, etc.
I hope these books are as neat as they seem. I couldn't get all the way through them before. Maybe these editions will make the difference. Or maybe I'm rationalizing.
Take care,
Liz
