Wow!  What an honor to be recognized with a national award by the Sierra
Club!  This is the result of many years of dedicated work by our Green
Sanctuary team to create a meaningful environmental justice project.  I
have seen the meeting group that you have brought together, with
constituents of many organizations working together to address such an
important issue as public transportation.  Your continued efforts in this
area are impressive, and so important, especially with our current
political culture that doesn't place a high value on environmental issues.

Thank you Gerry and Ray for your leadership on this, and to all those who
have helped.  Thanks for your continued encouragement and wonderful example
of citizen action. Your work has inspired me to contact my legislators on
this issue.

Thank you for helping make LCUUC known for our support to protect the web
of existence of which we are all a part!
