The national Showing Up for Racial Justice group (SURJ) has put out a helpful guide for potentially difficult family discussions during the upcoming holiday season about racism.  It gives thoughtful ways to start a dialogue and ideas for responding to specific types of statements and arguments you might encounter.  Best of all, they've provided a Holiday "hotline" for support if you find yourself uncomfortable or overwhelmed by what you are encountering.
