Monday 7/25
Roast turkey, gravy, salad, rolls, dessert
Tuesday 7/26 Beef Tacos, beans and rice, sides, dessert
Wed 7/27 Roast beef, salads, texas toast, dessert
Thurs 7/28 BBQ pork, baked potatoes, salad, dessert
Fri 7/29 Cheeseburgers. hot dogs, fries, salad, dessert
Sat 7/30 Pizza, veggies and dip and dessert
Some of our dinner prep volunteers have let me know what they are
planning. Thursday will be chicken/rice/broccoli casserole, rolls and
salad. Monday will be pizza and salad. I would love to hear from our other
meal prep volunteers as to their menu choice, if they have one planned. In
the past tacos/baked potato bar/mac & cheese have gone over well. I will
pick something for you if you don't want to decide. Let me know!
There are no food allergies or restrictions in this group, but one of our
dads does not enjoy pork. He will either find something else to eat or
cook his own dinner. We can still have pork for dinner if that's what the
cook has decided upon!
Try to plan your meals for the total number of guests plus a few volunteers
( we eat with the guests). Also, please manage the leftovers. If there
are more leftovers than the group will take for the following day's lunch,
please take them home with you to enjoy. It gets tricky by the end of the
week if we have LOTS of leftovers in the fridge!!
Thanks to all for the help. Please note that there are MANY OPEN VOLUNTEER
SLOTS toward the end of the week.
Please call me with any question or ideas/concerns.
