There is a hand-track in the blower room at LCUUC. Just please be sure to
put it back after you use it (we had one disappear a few years back).
Thanks,
Gerry F.

Does anyone have a hand cart or wagon to help with this?

Subject: [Lekooks] Can someone help me for 15 minutes tomorrow after the
service?

Hi everyone,

Could I enlist the help of one or two people to unload the back of my car
tomorrow after the service? It will be packed with items for the upcoming
LCUUC rummage sale. With my totally bum ankle (yes, I am still putting off
the ankle replacement I need) I find carrying moderately heavy boxes to be
painful. Also, Jack is currently limited to lifting/carrying no more than 10
pounds, otherwise I would ask him to help me.

Those of you who know us may be asking – why are Kathie and Jack already
back in Wisconsin from spending the winter in Florida , and why is Jack
limited in what he can carry? The two are related. I have actually been back
here since the end of February (Jack returned a couple of weeks before me for
some work stuff), because Jack found out he needed a triple heart bypass.
He was scheduled for surgery at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee
Falls on March 4. The bypass surgery went very well, he was discharged from
the hospital on March 9, and he has been recovering very well since then. He
was cleared to go back to work this past week, and life is getting back to
normal. The only major restriction is the weight-carrying limit, which is
in effect until June – it takes a fair bit of time for the sternum to mend
together again after bypass surgery.

We have had a long string of relatives visiting since Jack’s surgery, and
during one visit Jack’s sister and our brother-in-law helped me carry a
bunch of rummage sale items down from our attic to the garage, and today I am
loading it into the car for tomorrow. So… if you can help me to unload and
especially to carry everything into the social hall, just catch me after
the service. I think it can be done in about 15 minutes.

Thanks,
Kathie
