This year's book is The Wizard of Earthsea - but even if you haven't read it or attended a workshop, you can still come to listen or to share a story on the theme "Coming of Age"!  Halloween may be over, but Ex Fabula members are about to find out what spirits still haunt the beautiful, historic Shakers Cigar Bar at "Spirits," a Secret Fabula event taking place THIS Sunday, November 8th, from 4:30-7:00 PM. 
1920s attire strongly encouraged - or simply come as you are post Packers game.

This spook-tacular event is limited to 30 members so don't wait for the afterlife - get your tickets now! Each ticket includes a tour, team trivia, a "Death in the Afternoon" absinthe cocktail (NA version available), and storytelling about spirits, haunting, and life after death - with time for members to share as well!

Ex Fabula Fellows Take to the Stage
We are excited to announce the first event featuring our new Ex Fabula fellows! The Zeidler Center for Public Discussion is hosting "Whiteness & Privilege," a community dialogue that will help dismantle racism by exploring and interrogating the ideas of whiteness and privilege. As part of the event, several Fellows will share true and personal stories that they have been developing over the last weeks. Attendees will also have the chance to share their own experiences as part of facilitated, small group dialogues. 

This FREE event will take place from 7:00-8:30 PM on November 24th at Workshop Architects (201 E. Pittsburgh #301). Please pre-register and join us!

No need to prepare for this dialogue, but if you want to explore these topics on your own, some great resources are on the Fellowship page of our website.   |

Monthly StorySlam:
"My Life of Crime" 

You did the crime, now join us on November 18th at the Times Cinema for true, personal stories on the theme of "My Life of Crime". 

Doors open at 6:30 and we strongly recommend getting advance tickets and arriving at least 15 minutes before showtime. Our Slams have been selling out and the early bird gets the worm (and the best seats and parking!).
