Plus, if they pass this useless amendment, next they will demand proof of citizenship when voting. A driver's license will not be enough. Passports are expensive and few have one. It's just another ruse to limit voting rights.</div>

<div class="PlainText">Just filled out my absentee ballot. There’s a tricky question at the very end, asking to make a new constitutional amendment about only citizens being able to vote.

This is already the law. Only US citizens can vote in Wisconsin elections, so this amendment is unnecessary. This is a Republican distraction. This referendum is another conspiracy-driven tactic from the GOP to disrupt our electoral process and waste valuable

 resources.<br>
