traffic stops are potentially lethal but they’re not – the </span><a href="https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2021/04/daunte-wright-dangerous-traffic-stop-myth.html" class="">estimated odds</a><span style="font-size: 10pt;" class=""> for a
police officer to be killed during a traffic stop is 1 in every 6.5 million
stops. </span><a href="https://theappeal.org/traffic-enforcement-without-police/" class="">Traffic stops</a><span style="font-size: 10pt;" class=""> can be done differently. In contrast, one in 1,000 Black
men will be </span><a href="https://www.pnas.org/content/116/34/16793" class="">killed by police</a><span style="font-size: 10pt;" class="">.<o:p class=""></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><b class=""><i class=""><span style="font-size: 10pt;" class="">TAKE ACTION</span></i></b><span style="font-size: 10pt;" class=""> – Join </span><a href="https://www.showingupforracialjustice.org/" class="">SURJ</a><span style="font-size: 10pt;" class=""> (Showing Up for Racial Justice). There is a
local affiliate all over the USA. SURJ is a national network of groups and
individuals working to undermine white supremacy and to work for racial
justice. Through community organizing, mobilizing, and education, SURJ moves
white people to act as part of a multi-racial majority for justice with passion
