<div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Ginger is correct, the test is a PCR test - the gold standard for testing. But this is not a do-it-yourself test, it is a collection kit. You receive the supplies you need to collect your saliva sample, collect the sample while being observed via ZOOM, and send your sample to a lab (Infinity BiologiX - CAP accredited). Results should be available 48-72 hours after the laboratory receives the sample. Collecting at home is a benefit as it removes the potential for getting infected (or infecting others) by going to a collection site. The difficulty is that the result indicates the presence or absence of the virus in your sample at the time it was collected.
