<div class="x_x_gmail_default">In WISDOM, we have been doing a pretty good job so far of bringing attention to the fact that there are many, many men and women who ought not be in our jails and prisons, especially in the time of a global pandemic (see below).
This Saturday, we will be looking at another group of our brothers and sisters who ought not be in cages in the first place, but who are at special risk for COVID-19. And, we will learn how we in Wisconsin have a special responsibility for them.</div>

on its way to the Governor's mansion. There we made clear our demand that Governor Evers act to deal with our overcrowded prisons during the pandemic. The event got a lot of media attention, and seems to have caught the attention of the Governor. Join us
Wednesday to help ensure that the effort doesn't stop there, and that we keep it going until the Governor actually takes action to release elderly and sick prisoners, and enough low-risk people that those who remain in prison have a chance to observe social
distancing.</span></div>
