An additional 68 people were released from the Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility who had been held on an "alternative to revocation". He further ordered the expedited release of everyone eligible for Earned Release who would be expected to be out in less than a year.</b></span></span></div>

There is still a lot more to be done -- expedited Compassionate Release and Parole, for example. And, it would still be important for the Governor to publicly endorse these measures and call for more steps to be taken to get our prison population down to a level where they can truly be safe.</span></span></div>
