<div>Please consider attending this program on Sunday Feb. 16. It is very timely considering that the Wisconsin State Legislature is now considering a "Tough on Crime" package of bills which mostly<i> increase</i> imprisonment under various circumstances, including 180 day <i>minimum</i> jail time for shoplifting (eg. stealing a loaf of bread as in <i>Les Miserables</i>). This is in contrast with Minnesota's approach, where they incarcerate half as many people per capita as Wisconsin, with similar per capita crime rates.</div>
