<div style="font-size:10pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black;">I noticed today that there we several plastic trash bags filled with recyclables in the Recycling dumpster.<br>
I don't know if any of our LCUUC people put them there or not (there is often stuff in our dumpsters obviously left by someone else), but if so, please be aware that recycling is now done by "single stream", where the recyclables are put on a conveyer belt and people pull at what is recyclable by material, and reject everything else for landfilling. They don't take the time to open plastic bags, so everything in them just goes to the landfill.<br>

So please just put the recyclables into the dumpster loose, and observe what is actually recyclable (see attachment).</div>
