In particular, please reject the Budget Committee’s $20 million spending for the expansion of I-94 East-West in Milwaukee. Governor Walker rightly cancelled that project in 2017. I’m also concerned that the Budget Committee wants to borrow almost $100 million for the Zoo Interchange.<br> <br> Highway expansions are a waste of taxpayer money and would put us further into debt. Instead, please fund local priorities by redirecting those $20 million money to improving Wisconsin’s public transportation systems.
